Monument Valley - As It Might Have Looked 100 Years Ago - No Roads
I tried to create an image of Monument Valley as it might have looked 100 years or so in the past. Today there is a road that winds through it and it is always full of tourist in their cars and then there are the tour trucks loaded with
tourist running through the valley. I actually saw what could be considered a traffic jam on this winding dirt road. I used Photoshop CS6 to remove all signs of man. I took out the road, the tourists and the cars in an attempt to
present Monument Valley as it might have appeared long before the white man arrived. This is the result of that effort. I only wish this was the actual view I had when I was there. Scroll down to see the view of Monument Valley
as it is today. You will see the original shot that I worked on to produce this one.
