Moon Shot with the 500mm Minolta Mirror Lens
The 500mm uses a catadioptric design to enable the 500mm focal length to be achieved in a smaller package.

Achieving critical focus was quite hard due to the fact that mirror lenses will focus past infinity to allow for expansion and contraction of the mirror. I took a number of shots and this was
the best I could do with the lens mounted on the XP1 and using a tripod. I still noticed a lot of camera shake due to a bit of wind. I used and old school cable release as well.
